IVIS Construction Inc. is a Canadian industry leader in Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) which is one of the several trenchless rehabilitation methods used throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia to repair existing infrastructure.

No Dig Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation

This process offers minimal impact on the surrounding environment and provides a long term solution to pipe corrosion, infiltration and ex-filtration. It also offers the benefit of being a complete structural rehabilitation. The cured pipe assumes the shape of the existing pipe and forms a joint-less, seamless, tight fitting liner within its host pipe.

At IVIS Construction Inc. we are capable of rehabilitating pipes ranging from 3 inch to 72 inch in diameter and can reline main and lateral line connections. The pipe is returned to service within hours as opposed to days with other rehabilitation methods.

At IVIS Construction Inc. the most commonly used rehabilitation method is cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP). This method is used in manholes, storm lines, sanitary lines, culverts, laterals and catch basins.

Trenchless Rehabilitation: Lateral Renewal Systems

IVIS Inc. is an LMK Technologies Licensee. We can provide our customers with a water-tight, root tight lateral repair solution that is engineered to a service life of up to 100 years.

  • Performance Liners (ASTM 1216)

  • Installed in secondary services from house to the main line. LMK performance liners are structural stand-alone liners that are saturated with resin, inserted into the pipe then cured.
    • Benefits Include:
    • Lateral Renewal System.
    • Spot repairs from 100mm up to 600mm.
    • The liner can be inverted anywhere in the pipe with no trimming or cutting.
    • Water-tight, root-tight.
    • Resin saturated, inserted and cured.
    • Structural stand-alone lining.
    • Engineered service life of 100 years.
  • T-Liners (ASTM F2561)

  • LMK’s T-Liners are a one-piece homogeneous main and lateral CIPP connection liner. Both the mainline and lateral sections are formed as a structural cylinder that renews 360-degrees of the mainline and extends up the lateral pipe as one continuous lining. This liner is impregnated with resin.
    • Benefits Include:
    • Non-disruptive, effective, and efficient
    • Water-tight, root-tight main/lateral lining
    • Resin impregnated felt liner that can be air inverted
    • Renew laterals up to 61m in a continuous inverted liner
    • Structural stand-alone lining
    • engineered service life of 100 years
    • Custom tailored for pipe transition form one size to another
    • Uniform Wall Thickness.
    • Compressible material at the ends creating a smooth, tapered transition to the host pipe
    • Lateral lining up to 200 feet long
  • Additional Clean Out

  • VAC-A-TEE®

  • At IVIS Construction Inc. we use LMK’s VAC-A-TEE clean out system when there is no access inside the building. This system provides us with an alternative clean out to the main line prior to installing the T-Liner.
  • This is a trenchless clean out system, that is environmentally, utility, and installer friendly. The VAC-A-TEE system is a clean and safe method for installing a new clean out, which provides access to the sewer lateral pipe for cleaning, lining, root removal, CCTV, etc.
    • Benefits Include:
    • A trenchless clean-out system for pipes ranging from 100mm – 600mm
    • Main pipe (140mm – 600mm)
    • Lateral pipe (75mm – 200mm)
    • Clay PVC, non-corrode and cast iron
  • Potable Water

  • SEKISUI Liners (ASTM 1216)

  • Sekisui liners are a high quality, glass-fiber reinforced cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner. IVIS Inc. recommends the use of these liners when dealing with issues regarding potable water.
  • This liner is impregnated with a specially designed thermosetting resin and inverted into the deteriorated pipe with water or air and cured to a superior liner of high stiffness and quality. This liner can withstand high internal and external pressures, is available in a variety of sizes, and is proven to improve flow characteristics.
    • Benefits Include:
    • Reinforced pipe liner will withstand high internal/external pressure
    • Pipe relining from 150mm to 600mm in diameter
    • Up to 244m per installation
    • They are manufactured in lengths over 1,000 feet
    • Liners can withstand pressures of up to 200 PSI
    • Liners can bend up to 45 degrees.
    • Granted potable water approved with AS/N Zs3020, BS6920, NSF61, BNQ applications
  • Manhole/Culvert Renewal System

  • MCNEIL Technologies Triplex Liner Renewal System

  • The Triplex liner is recommended for manhole and culvert rehabilitation. This triple layer protection liner is proven to solve issues with deterioration and infiltration.
  • Installation takes only a few hours which means we can install on average 2 – 4 manhole/ culvert structures per day.
  • Triplex Liners are made of structural fiberglass and polyester felt, with an internal non-porous membrane, providing a flexural strength that is bonded to the host structure. Structural integrity of the host structure is restored and further infiltration and chemical deterioration is prevented.
    • Benefits Include:
    • Custom designed manhole liner
    • 10 year warranty on materials and labour
    • Engineered certification for 100 life years service
    • Reduces the volume of wastewater treated.
    • Eliminate 100% of the groundwater infiltration
    • Lift stations, catch basins, manholes and culverts
